Business Development Manager (DACH)

Responsibility:
  • To develop new customers and grow the existing customers in German market.
  • To achieve company’s goals.
Requirement:
  • BS/MS Degree, proficient in English and German.
  • At least 3 years sales experience in Germany market.
  • Over 3 years sales experience in IT industry, familiarity with Storage/Server/PC will be a plus.

Technical Presales

Key Missions:
  • Business enablement by presenting Infortrend as a company and its solutions to address customers’ business and technological needs with the commensurate level of communication chosen for maximum comprehension.
  • Train and update customers (mostly channel partners) to empower them with product and business knowledge necessary to promote Infortrend solutions.
  • Be able to work and travel independently to build rapport with key accounts (existing and new). We perceive a strong presales candidate to be convincing in his/her approach to warming up customers to the brand.
  • Configure and prescribe the appropriate Infortrend storage solutions for customers with the goal to maximize project participation and win rate.
Examples of responsibilities:
  • Support the sales team by taking a consultative role in supporting customer's evaluation processes, including making architectural recommendations,
  • Troubleshooting development/configuration issues, and managing escalation to Support and Engineering
  • Articulate and educate on technical and architectural storage concepts to a variety of audiences, including resellers, distributors, developers, architects, IT operations professionals and senior IT management
  • Sell the value of Infortrend products using multiple formats/channels, including phone, presentations, and live/online product demonstrations
  • Provide pre-sales technical support
  • Provide technical product presentations and demonstrations
  • Translation of relevant information sources including websites, eDMs, whitepapers, etc. to local language where applicable (region dependent)
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of major competitors and baseline knowledge of all other competition
  • Work directly with customers in the sales and account management process
  • Manage and provide technical support for pre-sales product evaluations
  • Perform reseller and customer technical product training and certifications
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proper expectation setting
  • Provide feedback on features, issues, trends, and other product or market related concerns that affect product sales and acceptance
  • Work with Technical Support when required to provide post-sale support
  • Complete management assigned MBO’s within the designated time frame
  • Investigate new solution areas for product extensions
  • Train customers to master the products & fit them into their OSS
